Shipping Prices & Options

Free Shipping

  • All domestic orders over $49 are automatically eligible for free shipping during checkout.

Flat Rate Shipping

  • Orders below $49 within the United States and its territories are charged a flat rate of $5.99. This fee helps cover the costs of our eco-friendly packaging materials in addition to postage.

Delivery Services

  • Standard Delivery: All orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking, insurance, and safe handling.

  • Priority Mail Upgrade: Customers can select USPS Priority Mail for faster delivery.

  • Heavy Shipments: Orders exceeding 20 pounds may ship via UPS Ground for better handling and delivery of larger packages.

Secure Shipping

  • For added security, all domestic packages valued over $500 automatically include a signature service at no additional cost. This ensures your items arrive safely without any issues.

International Shipping

Carriers & Rates

  • We offer two international shipping options:

    • DHL Express: Quick delivery within 1 week.

    • GlobalPost: Cost-effective delivery within 1-3 weeks.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight.

Taxes & Duties

  • Delivery Duty Paid (DDP): For select destinations (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK), duties and taxes are included in your shipping cost with GlobalPost, so there are no surprises.

  • For other locations, import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees are typically around 20% of the order total.

Large Orders

  • For bulk or heavy orders, we recommend using freight forwarding services like MyUS or ForwardMe for better rates and smoother customs processing.

Processing Speed

Processing Time

We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible while ensuring it receives the care it deserves.

  • Average Processing Time: Most orders are shipped within 33 hours of purchase (excluding weekends, holidays, and closures).

  • Standard Processing: Allow up to 5 business days for more complex orders or during high-volume periods like holidays.

Delivery Time Estimates

  • U.S. Orders: Typically arrive within 1-5 business days after shipping.

  • International Orders: Arrive within 3-21 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number to monitor its progress.

Insurance & Claims

Full Insurance Coverage

  • All orders are shipped with full insurance coverage.

  • In the rare event of loss or damage, you’ll be fully reimbursed or provided replacement items at no cost.

How to File a Claim

  • Email us at info@beyondbohemian.com with photos of:

    • The damaged item(s).

    • The packaging and shipping box.

  • Claims must be submitted within:

    • 14 business days (U.S.).

    • 30 business days (international).

  • If your package is not delivered within the maximum timeframes, we’ll refund your order or send a replacement.

Liability & Security

  • Packages Marked as Delivered: If your package is marked as "delivered" but not received, contact your local post office or delivery carrier for assistance.

  • GPS Verified Delivery: If a package is confirmed as delivered to the correct address via GPS tracking, it may not be eligible for compensation unless theft is proven.

  • Stolen/Missing Packages: Beyond Bohemian is not liable for stolen packages or incorrect addresses entered during checkout.

  • Returned Packages:

    • Packages marked "refused" or "return to sender" will be refunded minus the original shipping cost.

    • Authorized returns are eligible for a full refund, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless Beyond Bohemian made an error.

Environmental Considerations

We prioritize sustainability in every part of our business, including shipping.

  • All packaging materials are recycled and compostable, reducing waste and environmental impact.

  • Every order contributes to reforestation—we plant a tree in Africa for each purchase through Eden: People+Planet.

Additional Services

  • Signature for Delivery: All domestic packages valued over $500 include signature service. If your order is below $500 and you’d like to add this service, please contact us at info@beyondbohemian.com.

  • Gift Orders: If purchasing a gift, leave a note at checkout, and we’ll include a handwritten message in the package.
