Description: Lizardite is a mineral from the serpentine group. Lizardite was named in 1955 after the place it was first reported, the Lizard Peninsula, in southern Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
Color: bright green, mottled with white and black and contains pyrite. Lizardite has a waxy luster.
