Pure Chrysocolla definitely is the crown jewel of all chrysocolla cabochons. Pure Chrysocolla is rare and hard to find as raw material. If found, it is the most brittle gemcutting material one could imagine, not only being very soft (2.5 on the Moh Hardness scale) but additionally very brittle. it requires years of gemcutting mastery to cut a cabochon from pure chrysocolla and not breaking it during the process. Even experienced master cutters will be unable to avoid major cutting loss thru breakage. Top-Quality Cabochon fulfilling highest jeweler expectations. Hand-selected top-tear material from the most famous Chrysocolla vein in Peru. Flawless cutting quality, representing superior craftsmanship by our experienced in-house master gem cutters. Ethically sourced and produced. Environmentally friendly and carbon-neutral. Chrysocolla is THE Peruvian gemstone, which has been used already 5000 years ago by the noble class of Americas oldest city Caral, and since then throughout all Peruvian cultures up to the Incas. It truly captures the essence of the Peruvian desert coast and Andean landscapes. Whether for meditation, energy work, or as a stunning display, let them infuse your space with the spirit of Peru.
