Description: Hematite is a common iron oxide compound with the formula, Fe2O3 and is widely found in rocks and soils. Hematite occurs naturally in black-to-steel or silver-gray, brown-to-reddish-brown, or red colors. It is mined as an important ore mineral of iron. Mica, on the other hand, is a shiny silicate mineral with a layered structure, found as minute scales in granite and other rocks. Our Hematite with Mica has been hand-collected by us in the desert mountains near the capital Lima at an altitude of approximately 2500 m.
