Description: In 2017, Gemrock discovered a small Rosophia deposit in the desert of Ica, Peru, near Paracas. It is an exclusive stone from Gemrock Peru. Peruvian Rosophia shows a mottled mixture of shades of red with translucent quartz spots and black feldspar spots. Peruvian Rosophia is not mined. It is surface collected in the Peruvian Desert (rockhounding). No dynamite or chemicals are used. No habitat destruction occurs.
