Description: Semper Fi is a stone containing Black Tourmaline, Epidote, Orthoclase, and Axinite. It originates from a Skarn area in the desert mountains in the Department of Lima, near the capital Lima in approximately 2500 m of altitude, where Gemrock did some crystal collecting in 2021. There is a black and white color version and a green version.
Color: There is a black-and-white version: A mottled-looking mix of Black Tourmaline, Orthoclase, and Axinite. Green Version: a mottled-looking mix of Black Tourmaline, Epidote, Orthoclase, and Axinite.

Ethically mined and produced: This stone was not mined but surface collected (rockhounding), without environmental impact. Our Cabochons are exclusively produced by our in-house gemcutters. Our staff works under legal labor contracts, at higher than average salaries, and receives all labor benefits as well as excellence bonuses and a share in the companies’ profits.
Environmentally friendly and carbon-neutral: Gemrock continuously works towards saving water and energy, and reducing waste along its entire production chain. The remaining impact is measured via carbon footprint evaluation and is neutralized by a reforestation project financed by a small percentage of our profits from each cabochon.
